This awareness course is designed to provide information, in accordance with Cal/OSHA standards, to protect employees from work-related injury. It provides guidelines on required usage for personal protective equipment, inspection procedures to check for equipment defects, and criteria for failed equipment replacement. Upon completion of this course, your employees will:
- Recognize the different personal protective equipment options and determine which are required to perform certain tasks
- Understand why wearing proper personal protective equipment for an assigned task is necessary for job site and personal safety
- Why it’s important to inspect personal protective equipment prior to use and when to replace the equipment
- Easy-to-use AdminTool Box allows administrators control over course assignment, completion tracking, and follow-up - making training implementation efficient
- Plain language used to educate workers and ensure understanding
- Interactive quizzes conclude each section to test your workers' knowledge and understanding
Technical Requirements: The course requires an Adobe Flash Plug-in v8 or later and runs on both Windows and Macintosh systems. A computer with an Internet Browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled is required. We recommend a high-speed internet connection.
