Susan Kemp, Senior Employment Law Counsel and Helpline Manager for the California Chamber of Commerce, has written and edited several CalChamber publications on topics such as employee handbooks, sexual harassment investigations, family and medical leave and exempt/nonexempt employees. Erika Frank, General Counsel and head of the Legal Affairs Department for the California Chamber of Commerce, has lobbied the legislative and executive branches on taxation, civil litigation and lawsuit abuse issues and submitted briefs on cases affecting workers' compensation reform, the general conduct of business, employee relations, taxation, litigation reform and commercial free speech. Paul Schechter, HR Advisor for the California Chamber of Commerce, was the editor of CalChamber's California Labor Law Digest and other publications. While in private practice, Paul represented management in employment law matters and later managed human resources for several large organizations. Participants wishing to connect to audio using VoIP will need a fast Internet connection, a microphone and speakers (a USB headset is recommended). All participants must have Windows® Media Player to view the recorded version of the webinar.
