Utilizing a group of professionals of the highest caliber, including a dedicated Research and Publications Department, and for a low monthly membership dues renewably monthly, TOC delivers a wide range of services in all aspects of Human Resources, Safety and Labor and Employment Law. Company Background
Founded in 1960, TOC started in Oregon and began with a particular focus on providing Human Resources and labor and employment support to a number of companies primarily in the wood products industry. Since then, TOC has expanded to four states (Oregon, Washington, Idaho and California) and has members in nearly all major industries, from the medical field, manufacturing and retail, to service, transportation and construction. TOC services also steadily expanded, from an initial focus on labor issues, including collective bargaining, grievances, and arbitrations, to a comprehensive service which encompasses all aspects of HR, safety and labor and employment law.

Bio Clark Malak offers a unique blend of business, legal and academic expertise. In addition to his experience in HR, counseling TOC members on all aspects of human resources, and his certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, Mr. Malak has a J.D. from U.C. Berkeley (Boalt Hall) and a Master's degree from Princeton University. He is admitted to both the California and to the Colorado Bar. Additionally, with experience as a labor and employment attorney and with teaching experience at the college and law school levels, Mr. Malak offers our member companies comprehensive assessments and solutions which reflect best business practices while continuously assessing legal risks and exposures and educating management on the scope of those risks. |
